Tonight’s local music radio show on 107.1FM WBKM.ORG will run from 9-11pm US Eastern time, whatever time that is, and will go as follows:
Song before: Little Wing – Uli Jon Roth
From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. There is a new series at The Monkey House called The Show Up Shows where they have bands play and donate money to a worthy cause. Sunday will be the second installment and will support Planned Parenthood. It will feature these next four bands.
1.) Angela Carter – Cricket Blue
2.) Paint It Black – Silver Bridget
3.) It’s A Shame – The Parts
4.) Grass Is Always Greener – Phil Yates & The Affiliates
Those are four cool songs and all of the bands will be at the Monkey House on Sunday. I think it’s an early show and starts at 6:30. OK, let’s play the next song on By My Side.
5.) Feelin’ Strong – Kat Wright
6.) Spring – Madaila
7.) Summer Falls – Lendway
8.) Paperclip Chains – Let’s Whisper
I love Whisper’s songs. I think they are making a new album. I had to play Spring and Summer Falls since we got 30″ of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday and it’s a bright shining winter wonderland outside. Great song by the super strong Kat Wright band. Madaila, and these next four bands, are playing at Higher Ground (thanks for sponsoring us HG) on Saturday at 12:30 in the afternoon. They will be rocking out some kids songs.
9.) Smile – Dwight & Nicole
10.) What’s The Deal With The Triangle? – James Kochalka
11.) Popular Crowd – SWALE
12.) Righteous – ROUGH FRANCIS
If I was not working, I’d love to be there for that show. They’ve done it for a few years now. So, I just got in this new album by a new band who feature Greg and Casey from Rocketsled. They are called Senders.
13.) Too Late To Learn – Senders
14.) ETI (Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) – The Contrarian
15.) Go Ahead And Fear The Reaper – Senders
16.) Purpose And Object – The Contrarian
Casey Merlin Rae creates music as the Contrarian and is now in a new band too. Perhaps he is in others too. OK, I just got this new song in and it’s really cool.
17.) Laughing Jim – The Edd
18.) Lines and Spaces (live) – The Cancer Conspiracy
19.) Random Earth – Elephants of Scotland
Cool song from Elephants. Per John M Whyte they have a new album coming and a really cool sound. I can’t wait. CC were a classic ’90’s band. I love the Floyd feel of Edd. OK, this next artist just released this EP last week and it’s getting a lot of notice.
20.) 45 – Clever Girls
21.) Small Town Movie (live) – The Cush
22.) This Machine – Invisible Homes
23.) This Machine Still Kills Fascists – Senders.
I just had to play the Senders and Homes songs back to back. Great song by The Cush. Same for Clever. OK, let’s go way back in time.

Song before: First We Take Manhattan (live) – Leonard Cohen
From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. I want thank Higher Ground for sponsoring our station. They’ve got a huge show with Kat Wright releasing her new album By My Side tomorrow. I want to begin tonight with the many reports of bullying and swastika painting and acts of intimidation that have been happening since the election. We need to investigate every incident and call people out on their mean language and horrible actions. It’s time to look at ourselves as a country and encourage our good nature and step past the darker elements in our soul. It’s time to acknowledge that we’ve got problems.
1.) You’ve Got Problems – Kat Wright & The Indomitable Soul Band
2.) Bird On The Sea – The New Siberians
3.) Are We Mad? – David Rosane & The Zookeepers
4.) Children Of The Stars – Madaila
We are going to have to remember that we are all in this together and do our part to add positive actions to our community. After all, we all live under the same stars. David Rosane has written some great post election analysis of what’s going on and what can be. He also writes great songs. The Siberians sing about love saving us and we will need to keep that in mind. Great new song from Kat and the band. The story of how that came together is pretty great. OK, here comes the last song from Song For My Double. I’ll be off next week for Thanksgiving and in December I will start a new album to play all the way through, song after song, week after week, until it is done.
5.) No One – Invisible Homes
6.) Shy Spiders – Villanelles
7.) 2000 – The Pants
8.) Hey, That’s No Way To Say Goodbye (live) – Leonard Cohen
A lot of local musicians have been saddened by the death of Leonard. He will be sorely missed but the staggering body of work that he left us can come alive every time someone plays one of his songs or reads one of his poems. There was a beautiful gathering of local artists on Monday at Light Club Lamp Shop and that can happen whenever we want to make it happen again. Kirk Flanagan did a great version of Hey at that show, and he also played one Leon Russel song. Pants were a classic band from Burlington’s ’90’s. Spiders is a modern classic. Great song, and album, from Homes. Here’s another Burlington classic.
9.) You Don’t Like Me, Do Ya – Pinhead
10.) Wally Rides The Ferry – Zoot Wilson
11.) Destiny Waits – Bud & Budd ~ The Kind Buds
12.) New Atlantis – Aaron Flinn
Great song by Aaron. He played a couple of Cohen songs on Monday. Bud Johnson and Budd are so kind and great performers. Zoot used to rock out town in the ’80’s and Pinhead played back then too. Those songs have been around for a while but this next one is brand new.
13.) Waiting – Mr. Doubtfire
14.) The Interrogator (Enhanced) – Milton Busker
15.) Lean In – When Particles Collide
16.) Blue Light Shine – Gabrielle Douglas and the Dwellers
We will all have to shine our loving lights a lot in the next four years. Particles are out and about fighting sexism and rocking our world. Hopefully, Milton’s song will not be as on the mark as it seems like it might be. Great new song from Doubtfire. This next band are at The Monkey House tomorrow. Let’s take a walk around town with Diane Sullivan and Becky.
17.) Yayo – Dirty Blondes
18.) Hold Me Tight – The Decentz
19.) Diamond Days – The Lavas
20.) Undecided – Rocketsled
Rocketsled will get the band back together next January. I loved that one Lavas album. The Decentz played back in the early ’80’s. OK, let’s keep rocking.
21.) Comm To Space – ROUGH FRANCIS
22.) Can’t Feel It – Vetica
23.) That’s When I Reach For My Revolver – Ninja Custodian
24.) Little French Earthquakes – Phil Yates & The Affiliates
Phil was at the Cohen show too. I love that song by him and the band. Ninja played in the late ’80’s and early ’90’s and always rocked the house with that one. I love that Vetica song. Such a classic from Francis. Here’s another classic from the ’90’s.
25.) Poem For Torin (Ethan’s Stoned) – Peg Tassey MUSIC
26.) Great Escape – Jeremy Gilchrist – Singer-Songwriter
27.) My Hero, The Enemy – Gregory Douglass
Great song from Gregory. Jeremy Gilchrist played at the Cohen show and Peg Tassey was there too, but just to listen. I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. I’m off next week but will be back to do it again soon.

Tonight’s local music radio show on 107.1FM WBKM and streaming at the WBKM Facebook page featured some highlights of the music that happened in town last week, highlighted a couple of upcoming shows and featured a bunch of new music from a cool Burlington band.
Song before: Almost With You – The Church
From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. Last week I made it to one of the Hedwig and the Angry Inch shows they did at ArtsRiot. I loved the show and the local band who just rocked. The show had lots of glitter and sparkle and it made me think of this classic Burlington song.
1.) It’s Purple And It Sparkles – Zola Turn
2.) Midnight Radio – Hedwig and the Angry Inch original cast recording
3.) Popular Crowd – Swale.
Swale played the Hedwig after show party and played some great songs, many of them new. I love the build in Midnight which was the ending song from Hedwig. I love Zola. OK, it’s time for the next song on Alpenglow’s album Callisto.
4.) Holiday – Alpenglow
5.) Wally Rides The Ferry – Zoot Wilson
6.) Sun In The Sky – Ninja Custodian
7.) Upstream – The New Siberians
I’m loving that new Siberians song. Brendan Devitt is in the Siberians now and was in Ninja back in the day. I want to dedicate Sun to everyone who is going through a rough time. There is always a sun in the sky and you are a valuable part of the life that keeps moving on. We’re all in it together so help your friends and let them help you when you need it. Classic song from Zoot. What a legend in Burlington. Great new song from Alpenglow that is a bit more rocking than usual for them. This week, Cricket Blue released a new EP called IO. It’s full of legendary imagery and great music.
8.) Angela Carter – Cricket Blue
9.) Eleanor – Cricket Blue
10.) Trouble Come No More – Cricket Blue
11.) Kentucky – Cricket Blue
Wow, what an EP. I just could not pick one song so I had to play it all. OK, it’s the political season. I love the opening line to this song. It’s all about it being OK to disagree and not have to talk about it if you do.
12.) East Jabib (live) – REDadmiral
13.) Feel The Bern – Violint Wednesday
14.) This Land Is Your Land – VT artists
I love the version of the classic song done in honor of Bernie Sanders by a ton of great local musicians. The Bern song has such a nice portrait of life in Burlington. Great song from Admiral. They will be one of the many bands playing at the Monkey House on 4/20. This next artist will be at that show too.
15.) Relax – Joe Adler
16.) Winter Is Over – Apartment 3
17.) Monocacy – Slingshot Dakota
18.) You Took – The Church
Unfortunately, I will miss the Monkey 420 show since on April 20 I will go to the Tupelo Music Hall in New Hampshire and see The Church. They will play all of The Blurred Crusade so I had to play You Took and start the show with Almost With You. I’m so excited. I’m also excited by Slingshot Dakota playing at the Monkey House on May 10. I’m loving their new album Break. Apartment will be at the 420 Monkey show. That’s a pretty cool song. Hmm, I love Joe songs. Let’s keep with the theme, and if this next set makes you want to call your legislators, feel free.
19.) Gettin High – Heavy Plains
20.) Seeds And Stems – The New Siberians
21.) Grandma Betty – Brother Zag
22.) Space Weed Zombies – Wave Of The Future
I love the funky heavy rock of Wave. Great song from one of Burlington’s most obscure singer songwriters. Seeds is from the Siberians first album. Plains are such a great rocking band, especially live. OK, let’s keep rocking.
23.) Poem For Torin/Ethan’s Stoned – Peg Tassey
24.) The Bomb – The Mountain Says No
I may have to head over to Manhattan Pizza after the show and see Mountain. They go on at 11:30. Fantastic song from Peg. I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we? Ta ta, farewell, see ya.
25.) Sayonara – Black Rabbit

WBKM window by Tim Lewis
I just got back from my local music radio show on internet only WBKM.org. I played a lot of classic Burlington music, but mixed in a few newer songs too.
lined up before the show:
Moonlight In Vermont – Willie Nelson
Gift Shop – The Tragically Hip
Song before: Essence – The Church Band
From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. It’s a drizzly rainy night in Burlington and oddly warm for this late in November. Tonight I want to start with the second band I ever saw live. They opened for the Ramones at the Flynn Theater. My friend Christopher Larrow just got a turntable that can rip mp3’s so now I have a copy of this album to play. This is one of those songs that just randomly pops into my head now and then. I hope you enjoy!
1.) Hold Me Tight – The Decentz
2.) You Don’t Like Me, Do Ya? – Pinhead
3.) Wally Rides The Ferry – Zoot Wilson
4.) Every Time I Hear That Mellow Saxophone – Big Joe Burrell & The Unknown Blues Band
Big Joe passed away a few years back, and has a wonderful statue on Church st, but the band are around and playing tonight at Nectar’s to help celebrate the clubs 40th birthday. A lot of great music has been played in that room. OK, it’s time to play the last song on No Need To Beg. I hope you have enjoyed listening to all of those songs as much as I have.
5.) Insomnia – Phil Yates & The Affiliates
6.) I Feel So Dumb – The Decentz
7.) Medula Momblongata – Strung Out
8.) Say It – Anachronist
Great song from the Central Vermont band. Everyone loved to go see Emily play whenever Strung Out performed. Another classic from Decentz. Another great song from Phil Yates. I will be off next week, since it’s Thanksgiving, but the week after I will have to find a new album to play all the way through. This next set should be fun. It’s about girls clubs and boys clubs and motorcycles.
9.) Bad Girls Club – Colin Nicholas Clary
10.) Boys Club – Peg Tassey MUSIC
11.) She’s A Motorcycle – Colin Clary
12.) Faineant – Swale
I love that song about wishing he was a motorcycle and could go where he wants. Well sung Eric Olsen. Motorcycle and Girls Club are from Twee Blues, the album Colin just sent me. Thanks! There are some fun songs on that album. Boys Club is a classic from Peg about the anger that comes from being excluded because of race or sex or whatever. When you think about it the best way to fight terrorism is not with guns and bombs but to make everyone included and feel valued and have a hope of a decent life. It’s really not that hard to figure out. This next song is something that I have had for months on vinyl but have not been able to play for you, since we play all music files at the station. Thanks for ripping the MP3 for this one Chris!!!
13.) Bling Pigs – ROUGH FRANCIS
14.) Heavy Psych – The Cush
15.) Cowgirl In The Sand – The Seth Yacovone Band
Seth and the band played a killer show last week at Nectar’s to help WBKM celebrate its birthday. Joe Moore started the night on solo sax and tossed in a nice cover of Heart Of Gold. Seth played a solo set of Neil Young songs. He began with After The Gold Rush and closed with My My Hey Hey. The full band came on after and opened with Hey Hey My My and played tons of classics, including a killer version of Cowgirl. I was just thinking of the show The Cush played last year at Arts Riot, where they sold me their killer new album. That is the lead off song. Great song from Francis!!! OK, let’s keep rocking.
16.) The Day I Met You – Dirtminers
17.) So They Say – The New Siberians
18.) Who’s Fault Was That – The Snaz
19.) Compared To You – The Decentz
I love mixing something so old like Compared with something so new like Fault. I thought they sounded quite nice together. I’m still impatiently waiting for the next Siberians album. Great song that likely will be on that album. Killer song from Dirtminers. It’s been drizzly and rainy all night and feels a little bit like this.
20.) In The Rain – Plan B
21.) Left One In The Rain – Alice Austin
22.) We Shall Overcome – U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and 30 VT Musicians
I’m so glad there is one candidate for President talking about the need to create a world where people don’t want to be terrorists, rather than dealing with the repercussions afterwards. Bernie has been doing it for decades. Plan and Alice Austin sure sum up the mood of the evening. Since I have a bit of an international commentary going, I thought this would be fun to play.
23.) Attempt No Landing Aria – Mailbox
24.) Micronesia – Mailbox
25.) TFAY – Elephants of Scotland
I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s not do it next week but rather spend Thanksgiving with our families and not shopping. Let’s do it the week after that, and the week after that…

I just got back from my local music radio show on internet only WBKM.org. I’ve been working way too many days in a row (one more tomorrow), so I just threw together sets of music from different bands. I thought it came out well, except for that one mistake. Oh well, live radio.
Song before: A Rock Star Bucks A Coffee Shop – Neil Young
From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds of Burlington. We’ve seen lots of cool nights and cool mornings and warm days, but no real heat. There was a really cool sunset tonight but it’s 9pm and totally dark now. I’m going to dedicate this song to everyone who works for a living.
1.) I Got A Job – Maryse Smith
2.) 15 Steps – Maryse Smith
3.) Glory Bound – Maryse Smith
Yes, you guessed it, I’m playing sets of music from a few bands to really go deep and let you see how good they are. Maryse is a great performer, has vividly real lyrics and is always impressive. Burlington always seems to have buskers playing music on Church st all summer long.
4.) Busker – Abbie Morin
5.) Shadowproof – Abbie Morin
6.) Better Half – Abbie Morin
Abbie is playing tomorrow late night at Radio Bean. Soon after, she is hitting the road to get her music out there. Best of luck! OK, let’s go classic Burlington.
7.) Wally Rides The Ferry – Zoot Wilson
8.) Killer Bee Bop – Zoot Wilson
9.) Mystery Blues – Zoot Wilson
Zoot is deservedly a legend in this town. OK, let’s keep the cool mystery theme going.
10.) Mysterious Mystery – Persian Claws
11.) Warm Chills – Persian Claws
12.) Move Through Time – Persian Claws
I just love the super cool sound of the Claws. This next band is playing at Manhattan Pizza and Pub Saturday.
13.) Little French Earthquakes – Phil Yates & The Affiliates
14.) Could You Be The One? – Phil Yates & The Affiliates
15.) Ninjas VS Zombies – Phil Yates
Great stuff from Phil and the guys. Hey, do you know what’s great for killing zombies? Weapons. You know what my favorite weapon is? Rock And Roll.
16.) Rock And Roll Is My Weapon – Ninja Custodian
17.) That’s When I Reach For My Revolver – Ninja Custodian
18.) Las Vegas – Ninja Custodian
I saw Ninja a ton of times at Nectar’s back in the lat ’80’s and early ’90’s. They were always stunning. Now it’s time for the next song on JV, the brilliant debut album from The Mountain Says No.
19.) Long Term Sermon – The Mountain Says No
20.) JC and The Beast – The Mountain Says No
21.) The Bomb – The Mountain Says No
All of those songs are so great. Thanks Mountain!!! This next band have been rocking this town for a decade or more.
22.) Scorned Woman – Dirty Blondes
23.) Oh Dirty Blondes – Dirty Blondes
24.) You Don’t Like Me, Do Ya? – Pinhead
Rats, I thought I had Ornan’s Song lined up. Sorry about that. Let’s continue on through the Pinhead set.
25.) Be A Good Citizen – Pinhead
26.) New Age Woman – Pinhead
If the Wards brought the punk scene to town, Pinhead took it from there, moved it into New Wave and lead the groundwork for the tremendous scene we now have in Burlington. This next band play out a lot and are one of Burlington’s best. Happy yesterday Birthday Eric Olsen.
27.) Edible – Swale
28.) Edible #2 – Swale
29.) Popular Crowd – Swale
Hmmmmm, Swale. OK just enough time for one more set.
30.) Tibbar Tibbar – Black Rabbit
31.) Rejected – Black Rabbit
32.) Sayonara – Black Rabbit
Hmmmm, Black Rabbit. I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?
Songs after: The Gathering – Fish
The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range – Roger Waters
I just got back from doing my local music radio show. I walked in unprepared but think I pulled out a fun one.
Song before: The Rakes Song – The Decemberists
From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. It’s 9pm and already dark. It’s still been rainy and chilly at night and sunny and warm but not super hot. It looks like this will not be one of the warmer summers on record, but there have been many stunning days. I caught some of The Precipice: A Vermont Music Festival last weekend and saw some great music. One of the artists that I really enjoyed was Abbie Morin, so I got her album and here is Peace Of Mind on WBKM.org and this is Burlington’s Kind Of Music.
1.) Peace Of Mind – Abbie Morin
2.) I Walk The Line – Zoot Wilson
3.) Avalon – Split Tongue Crow
4.) Two Sleepy Arms – Lendway
The High Breaks played a super cool show at Radio Bean at the Precipice. Three of the guys used to be in Lendway, so I wanted to play Arms since I have no Breaks to play. I love Split Tongue Crow and that is just a gorgeous song. Fun cover from Zoot. I think he said that was the modern version. Abbie is going to hit the road soon. If she’s in your town, check out her show. After the Breaks set I ran into Todd Gevry and asked if he had heard of And The Kids. He said he had heard the name. I recommended staying and listening. After their set he seemed pretty enthusiastic. I thought they were great and they played a killer version of this song.
5.) All Day All Night – And The Kids
6.) Brothers And Sisters – Joe Adler
7.) Sequoia 3 – Binger
8.) It’s Just A Ride – Bill Hicks AMERICAN The Bill Hicks Story)
9.) We Shall Overcome – U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders
I’m missing the Republican debate tonight, and I’m assuming I’m just going to miss 10-17 people saying the same Approved Talking Points. I had to play Bernie to counter some of that. Bill’s message still resonates hard. Binger played a killer version of 3 at the Precipice, and some pretty killer other songs too. I caught a bit of Johnnie Day Durand playing saw at The Precipice and wanted to play Brothers to give you a hint, and to thank Joe for all that he has done to make our town sound great. Love that Kids song. I’m going to play this next song because I love it and it’s great.
10.) If You Get Lost – Swale
11.) Small Town Movie – The Cush
12.) It’s Real Again – Zola Turn
I think I played all three of those songs because I love them and they are great. OK, on to the next song from The Mountain Says No’s album JV. This is the eponymous song.
13.) The Mountain – The Mountain Says No
14.) Can’t Feel It – Vetica
15.) Dead Or In Jail – Crazyhearse
16.) Holmes, Sweet Holmes – Cameo Harlot
I miss Harlot. Crazy just played the Radio Bean last Tuesday. I love the Vetica song. Hmmm, Mountain. OK, let’s go classic.
17.) First Kiss – Peg Tassey MUSIC
18.) Flypaper – Persian Claws
19.) Always Monica-Down At The Duck – Chin Ho
Three Burlington classics from three different eras. Great songs too. This is another beautiful song that I love.
20.) If Time Was A River – Anna Pardenik
21.) WhoNeedsFriends – Paper Castles
22.) Clocks On the Wall – Jeremy Gilchrist
Great song with great lyrics. Thanks Jeremy. Castles played a killer set at the Precipice at the Light Club Lamp Shop. Great song from Anna. This next song seems to be getting some traction.
23.) Burn It Down Bernadette – Phil Yates & The Affiliates
24.) Knight Ov Swords – The Contrarian
25.) Sayonara – Black Rabbit
I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?
Song after: Arc Of The Curve – Fish
I just got back from my local music radio show on internet only WBKM.org. The opening song set the tone for the bands and music that followed.
Song before: Satellite – Guster
From our small city to the great big world, these are the sounds of Burlington. I had great plans to see lots of music this week, but twisted my ankle on Friday and sat (with leg up and icepack on) out too much of it. It’s a bit better now so I should be all set soon. Today has been cloudy and cool and humid and I’ve been in a spacey sort of mood. Let’s take a trip through the last 30 years in town and start with Move Through Time by Persian Claws on WBKM, and this is Burlington’s Kind Of Music.
1.) Move Through Time – Persian Claws
2.) Pauses – Black Rabbit
3.) Your Downtown Aperture – Video Pigeon
4.) All My Life – Wide Wail
Killer song from a classic band from Burlington’s glorious ’90’s. Some people say Burlington bands come in waves and there are times when there is not much around. Even in those troughs bands like Video Pigeon were around rocking beautifully. Killer new song from Rabbit. Great song from the Claws!! OK, let’s stay in the ’90’s for a bit.
5.) The Summer Of Andy – The Cancer Conspiracy
6.) Last Man Standing – Band X
7.) Jules Rosen and Joe Steel – Brave The Vertigo
8.) One More Grave – The Contrarian
Casey Merlin Rae used to play in bands in town, then wrote the music column for Seven Days and is now working in DC to help find ways for musicians to get paid for their music. Yea!! I really wanted to check out Vertigo at Radio Bean last night, but the ankle said no. Killer song from Band X who sort of evolved into Elephants of Scotland. OK, let’s go on to the next song on JV, the album I’m playing all the way through week after week, song after song.
9.) Who could Say – The Mountain Says No
10.) Mad Captain – Brother Zag
11.) Day Of The Dead – Hana Zara
12.) Abilene – The Lonestar Chain
I’ve been watching the flooding in Texas and saw a mention on the Weather Chanel of Abilene and thought of Burette Douglas and this song. Killer song from Hana. Zag is one of the known unknown cool artists in town. Mountain will be at Radio Bean on Saturday and I really want to make it to the show. I was thinking of checking out this next band when they played Summervale today, but walking down the hill away from the radio station was not going to happen today, short of an act from God.
13.) Dear God – Kat Wright & The Indomitable Soul Band
14.) Dancing In Dreamtime – Jerichovox
15.) Holiday – Guppyboy
16.) Old Man – Will
Killer song from the Rutland band from the early 2000’s. When they broke up they became Thompson Gunner and Split Tongue Crow. Killer song from the classic ’90’s band. Jericho are playing around a bit and were really cool when I saw them a couple of months back. OK, let’s go back to the early ’80’s, or maybe ’70’s.
17.) At The Diner – Zoot Wilson
18.) 2012 – Lobot
19.) Waterlanding – Swale
20.) Ladders – Heavy Plains
Nice song from the super new band who will be at Nectar’s tomorrow. Swale and one other band will be there too. A few weeks back Chris Farnsworth gave me a collection of songs that Lobot had left over. That one was pretty cool. Hmmm, Zoot. This next band is the other one playing Nectar’s tomorrow.
21.) Ruffians – ROUGH FRANCIS
22.) Gas And Oil – Gas And Oil
23.) Plastic Revolution – Doll Fight
24.) Stop – REDadmirial
Admiral were at The Old North Ender last night. I had hopes of checking out some of them then heading to the Bean for Vertigo, but it was the couch and ice for me. I’ve got to go see them! Killer song from the 2000’s punk band. Gas was Beano Parker, from the Wards, side project and really rocked! OK, in classic Burlington style, this next band will be at the Bean at the same time as the Nectar’s show tomorrow. Rats!! I love this band.

I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?
