Song before: Bloodletting (The Vampire Song) (extended) – Concrete Blonde

intro

From our small city to the great big world these are the Sounds Of Burlington. It’s almost Halloween and I have a bunch of scary local songs lined up tonight, but first let’s head over to Robot Dog Studio for an interview and live performance by the mighty Ruckzuck Warning: This show could disorient your sense of space and time.

1.) I Ruined The Moon – Ruckzuck
2.) Alan’s Garden – Ruckzuck
3.) Future Shock – Ruckzuck
4.) Miss Cancy – Ruckzuck

I want to thank Ruckzuck for playing three times last Sunday and for their relentless touring and over the top music. It just fills my heart and I hope it does the same for you. Thanks also to Ryan Cohen for relentlessly making us sound great. OK, it’s almost Halloween. Let’s begin with a song about the dead.

5.) Stardust For Dessert – David Rosane & The Zookeepers
6.) A Monster’s Holiday – Matt the Gnat and the Gators
7.) Devil – farm
8.) Devil Knows My Name – Great Western

Great songs from Western and Farm. The first two were recorded at Robot Dog when those bands stopped in and played. OK, let’s go on to the next song from the Surf Sabbath album that I’m playing all the way through week after week.

9.) Hole In The Sky – Surf Sabbath (The High Breaks)
10.) Ninjas Vs Zombies – Phil Yates
11.) Oh My God – Sarah Blacker & New England Groove Association
12.) Ghostified – Persian Claws

Great ghostly rocker from the Claws. Sarah has lots of supernatural imagery in that song. Great song from the unaffiliated Phil Yates. Great surf rock version of the Sabbath song. OK, let’s keep rocking.

13.) Day Of The Dead – Hana Zara
14.) I Put A Spell On You – Marco Benevento and Kat Wright
15.) Death Of A Barn Cat – Dirtminers
16.) Graveyard Before Dark – Alice Austin

Great song from the legendary Alice Austin. Cool song about a sad subject by the Dirtminers. Great version of the classic by Kat and Marco. That was recorded at Radio Bean a couple of years back. Classic from Hana. I hope you’re not afraid of ghosts.

17.) Counting On A Ghost – Elephants of Scotland
18.) Giving Up The Ghost – Aaron Flinn
19.) Raising The Dead – Carraway
20.) Nightmare On Elm Street Theme – Savage Hen

Savage created that little ditty one night at Robot Dog. Great imagery in the Carraway song. Hmmm, ghosts. OK, this next song is not about a ghost.

21.) Vampyre – David L Jarvis
22.) Hell Chicken – Swillbillie
23.) Halloween Jam – The Dead Shakers
24.) Demon Moon – Crazyhearse

Great scary song from hearse. The Dead Shakers recorded that one at a session at Robot Dog recently. Gotta watch out for vampires and chickens from hell. Well, I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we? Sayonara.

Swale 016

Tonight’s local music radio show on WBKM 107.1FM Thursday June 22nd will run from 9-11pm US Eastern time and will go as follows:

Song before: You’ve Got Time – Regina Spektor

intro

From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. Phish became so huge that a lot of people think of Burlington as a host to many jam bands, which we certainly have plenty, but we also have lots of diverse artists and some even think your song is too long.

1.) Your Song’s Too Long – Mr. Ray Fork
2.) Tell Me No – Clever Girls
3.) Fast – Chin Ho
4.) Terrarium – Vedora

I miss Vedora. What a beautiful song. Chin put a ton of music into our community in the 90’s. Nice rocker from the Girls. Ray Fork, you’ve just got to love him. OK, here is the next song on Camera.

5.) Dead End Street – 1881
6.) Small Town Movie – The Cush
7.) Bloodboy – Barbacoa
8.) Off To Be On – Near North

Cool song by the Vermont band. I should really try and catch up with them soon. Classic cover of the Envy song by Barbacoa. Bill Mullins and Kirk Flanagan from the band will play at Foam Brewers tomorrow as the Idles. Classic song from the Cush. Great song from 1881. This next set of music has a universal theme. It begins with not being able to get by, even though you are in the show.

9.) Soul Piggy Bank – SWALE
10.) I Got A Job – Maryse Smith
11.) Paycheck – Slingshot Dakota
12.) I Need A Raise – Cave Bees
13.) Rejected – Black Rabbit
14.) I Quit – Blotto

With the setup from the first song, I think you can see the flow of the theme from the song titles. Great songs, each and every one of them. OK, let’s keep rocking.

15.) Lion Tamer – Carraway
16.) Parking Lot – Villanelles
17.) Silence Kills – Secret Heliotropes
18.) Just Another Day – The Nancy Druids

I had to play that one because of the lion tamer reference. Cool songs from Heliotropes, Villanelles and Carraway. This next song is just great.

19.) Haze – gneiss
20.) Bury Me – Forest Gray
21.) Harvest Moon – Silver Bridget
22.) Easy Come – Split Tongue Crow

Great song from the Rutland band. Bridget are so wonderful. I caught up with Forest Gray at Radio Bean last Sunday and he put on a delightful show as always. Gneiss are at Martell’s in Jefforsonville tomorrow. OK, time to keep rocking.

23.) Spit N Fire Blues – Joe Adler & The Rangers Of Danger
24.) Showdown At The Blue Moon Hotel – Jerichovox
25.) Sequoia 3 – Binger

Great rocker by the very thoughtful band that Facebook won’t let me tag. Jerichovox are from Jericho VT and play cool songs. That song by Joe Adler and the band was recorded live at Nectar’s. OK, let’s keep rocking.

26.) Flypaper – Persian Claws
27.) Light’s Of Montreal – Lobot
28.) Strawberry Blonde – Dino Bravo VT
29.) Nowhere Feels Like Home – Fire the Cannons

Cannons only existed for a couple of years but left us with some great songs. Dino will be at The Monkey House on Sunday with some other musicians to raise money for a good cause, so you should Show Up. Lobot were so much fun, and so were the Claws. I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?

outro

Tonight’s local music Halloween show on 107.1FM WBKM runs from 9-11pm US Eastern time and will go as follows:

Song before: Who Are These Gods? – Dam Kat

intro

From our small mortuary to the great big graveyard, these are the skulls of Burlington. It’s been a terrifying few days in Burlington with cold wind and snow blanketing the beautiful red orange and gold leaves. The forecast is for it to get darker and darker until All Hallows Eve on Monday, then it will return to it’s usual lovely state. Our sponsor, Higher Ground, is likely going to send me to the gallows for not mentioning how great of a rock club they are but tonight I want to focus on the fusion of the physical world and the spirits that inhabit it. Our perception of life is merely the light dancing across shifting solid objects. Let’s explore this subject matter with a song called Shadow and Act by Invisible Homes on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington’s Kind Of Music, Plattsburgh’s kind of music and Danemora’s kind of music too.

1.) Shadow And Act – Invisible Homes
2.) Oh My God – Sarah Blacker
3.) Release The Dead – Chin Ho
4.) Angels And Devils – Invisible Homes

That was a song called Angels and Devils by Invisible Homes on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora. Can you think of anything more terrifying than going back to your home after a long night at the clubs and finding it invisible? Once you find your way inside it must be hard to balance the angels and devils. For the tale before that I had to dig deep into one of our oldest graveyards to find the song Release the dead by Chin Ho. Did you enjoy Sarah Blacker’s tale of darkness and light in Oh My God? I hope Invisible Homes twin tales of Shadow and Act and Angels and Devils help you enjoy the thin thread between the worlds. Speaking of the devil. let’s take a journey to an ancient Vermont Farm for a song called Devil on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington’s Kind Of Music, Plattsburgh’s kind of music and Danemor’s kind of music too.

5.) Devil – farm
6.) Devil’s Work – Thompson Gunner
7.) Devil’s Right Hand – Swillbillie
8.) Devil Knows My Name – Great Western

Great Western must be terrified that the Devil Knows Their Name on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora. Swillbillie told us a gruesome tale of a gun being used as The Devil’s Right Hand. Thompson Gunner told us a tale of he Devil’s Work, and Farm told us a story about freeing themselves from the hold of the Devil. Now, we shall let Hana Zara tell us about one of our most famous holiday’s. It’s called Day Of The Dead on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington’s Kind Of Music, Plattsburgh’s kind of music and Danemora’s kind of music too.

9.) Day Of The Dead – Hana Zara
10.) Raising The Dead – Carraway
11.) Ninjas Vs Zombies – Phil Yates
12.) Two Weeks (’til The End Of The World) – Grand

Considering America’s imminent grand decision, perhaps it is just Two Weeks (’til the end of the world) as the band Grand so nicely stated on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora. I hope you enjoyed Phil Yates’ tale of Ninjas Vs Zombies and the epic battle for life. If the zombies should win, at least they dance well, as Carraway explained in Raising The Dead. Hana Zara’s cheery tale of the Day Of The Dead should give you hope too, in the darkest of evenings. Are you afraid yet? I hope so because it’s time to be terrified. It’s time for Doom Service and a Welcome To The Hellmouth on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington’s Kind Of Music, Plattsburgh’s kind of music and Danemora’s kind of music too.

13.) Welcome To The Hellmouth – Doom Service
14.) Demon Eyes – Lake Superior
15.) Demon Moon – Crazyhearse
16.) Vampyre – David Jarvis

That was a tale of the Vampyre by Dave Jarvis on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora. Dave will resurrect his old body and band for a show tomorrow and I hear word that the Vampyre will appear. Were you more afraid of Crazyhearse’s story of the Demon Moon or Lake Superior’s Demon eyes? Both were pretty frightening. I hope you enjoyed your Welcome To The Hellmouth with Doom Service. They put on the darkest of shows last Tuesday at Nectar’s. This next singer plays all the time, but to find Alice Austin, you must go to a Graveyard Before Dark on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora.

17.) Graveyard Before Dark – Alice Austin
18.) One More Grave – The Contrarian
19.) Children Of The Grave – Jesus Christ and the Hallucinogenic Allstars
20.) Paranoid – Surf Sabbath (The High Breaks)

Even ghouls like to surf so I hope you enjoyed the cover of Paranoid by Surf Sabbath on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora. Since Vultures of Cult and SWALE are playing Black Sabbath cover shows on Saturday I had to subject us to Children Of The Grave by Jesus Christ and the Hallucinogenic All Stars. The Contrarian took us on a trip through One More Grave and we started in The Graveyard Before Dark with newly married Alice Austin. As all of the undead know, once you are in the grave, there is only one way to go, down. Fortunately, you will be guided by Our Lady Of The Underground as told by Anais Mitchell on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington’s Kind Of Music, Plattsburgh’s kind of music and Danemora’s kind of music too.

21.) Our Lady Of The Underground – Anais Mitchell
22.) I Put A Spell On You – Marco Benevento and Kat Wright
23.) You’ll Make A Great Ghost – the grift
24.) Ghost Train – Jerichovox

Did you enjoy your journey on the Ghost Train with Jerichovox on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora? I hope so, there will be more ghostly songs soon. The Grift thought You Will Make A Great Ghost and I agree. That was Marco Benevento and Kat Wright who admitted that I Put A Spell On You and Anais Mitchell was Our Lady Of The Underground. Some people are addicted to the supernatural but Aaron Flinn is forever Giving Up The Ghost on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington’s Kind Of Music, Plattsburgh’s kind of music and Danemors kind of music too.

25.) Giving Up The Ghost – Aaron Flinn
26.) Counting On A Ghost – Elephants of Scotland
27.) Ghostified – Persian Claws
28.) Killing Ghosts – Better Things

Better things are lovely kids to think that they can go around Killing Ghosts on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh’, Danemora. The Persian Claws left us Ghostified and Elephants of Scotland regaled us with a tale of Counting On A Ghost. Aaron Flinn is still Giving Up The Ghost and may do so for all eternity. This next group of individuals has demised as a band, but spend some time before they left Planning My Funeral. They were briefly known as Poxy on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington’s Kind Of Music, Plattsburgh’s kind of music and Danemora kind of music too.

29.) Planning My Funeral – Poxy
30.) With The Dead – Vultures of Cult

As we approach Halloween, we are all With The Dead as foretold by Vultures of Cult on WBKM.ORG 107.1FM Burlington, Plattsburgh, Danemora. I hope you were terrified to check out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we? Goodbye. Farewell, See Ya, Sayonara.

31.) Black Cat – Black Rabbit
outro

Songs after:
Plague Of Ghosts (live USA 2000) – Fish
Phantom Girl – The Cush
Black 17 – The New Siberians
Crazy Hearse – Barbacoa
Voodoo Camero – Wide Wail

Tonight’s local music radio show on 107.1FM in the Champlain Valley and broadcasting online on our Facebook Page WBKM, or at our website WBKM.ORG will go as follows:

Song before: The Crystal Ship – The Doors

intro

From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. It’s been a great week in Burlington with temperatures finally in the 70’s and 80’s and it’s so easy to get out and to do whatever you want. It’s so great to feel that freedom. One symbol of freedom that many people use as an allusion is the ship. Going to sea and setting yourself in a dance with nature is classic symbol throughout literature. Let’s begin with a song about ships.

1.) Ships – Anais Mitchell
2.) U Can Love If U Want To – Peg Tassey
3.) The Sea (Zach’s Song) – Francesca Blanchard

That’s a strong and gorgeous song from Francesca. Choosing to love is the ultimate Freedom. Thanks Peg Tassey MUSIC for explaining it so well. Great song from Anais. OK, let’s play the next song on Callisto.

4.) Find A Way – Alpenglow
5.) Storytellers – Slingshot Dakota
6.) Sun-Dipped Orphans And The Wizard’s Tea Pot – Elephants of Scotland
7.) Dancing In Dreamtime – Jerichovox

Beautiful song from the Jericho band. Something in Orphans reminded me of Dreamtime so I had to play them back to back. Great new song from Elephants. The new album called Break by Slingshot is still rocking my world. That’s another of the wonderful songs on that album. Great new song from Alpenglow. Last Sunday I had the usual bunch of friends stop over to watch Game Of Thrones. I know, I should have skipped it and went to Radio Bean to see REDadmiral, but just because I missed them, that doesn’t mean that you have to.

8..) Stop – REDadmiral
9.) Look At The Lilacs – Binger
10.) Stick That In Your Juicebox and Sip It – Better Things
11.) All My Life – Wide Wail

Classic rocker from Burlington’s ’90’s. BT did a great job opening for Slingshot at The Monkey House a couple of weeks ago. They played a great version of Juicebox that night. The lilacs are blooming and smelling fantastic and I love that new Binger song. Cool rocker from Admiral. So, I heard the coolest news last week. I went to Radio Bean to see The Nancy Druids and since Sean is playing in the band with Ann Mindell, and Julia Austin was hanging out at the show, Sean said that in July that Matt Hutton would come to Vermont and they will play an Envy reunion show!!! I think they were my favorite band from the ’90’s and I’m so excited! Here are a few songs from their album Distorted Greetings.

12.) Bloodboy – Envy
13.) Still Life Scene – Envy
14.) Bomb – Envy

I can’t wait to see them again! Yea! OK, on a different note, I’m in a bit of a melancholy mood, since it’s almost Memorial Day and last year on that day my uncle passed away. Hearing the news on Wednesday that Gordon Downie from The Tragically Hip was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer was pretty devastating. They have played Burlington many many times and have filled Vermont with their music for many years. They have a new album coming out and will do one more tour, which just amazes me. Here is a set of their music.

15.) Music At Work – The Tragically Hip
16.) New Orleans Is Sinking (live) – The Tragically Hip
17.) Fully Completely – The Tragically Hip

It’s sad and beautiful to think that we will get one more chance to see the mighty Canadian band. OK, let’s switch to some good news. Vermont artist Anais Mitchell did an album about her take on the Orpheus and Eurydice saga a few years ago. She called it Hadestown and it’s being performed in New York City off Broadway at the New York Theater Workshop. Here are a few songs from the album.

18.) Lover’s Desire – Anais Mitchell
19.) His kiss, the Riot – Anais Mitchell
20.) Doubt Comes In – Anais Mitchell
21.) I Raise My Cup To Him – Anais Mitchell

That is the ending of the Hadestown album. Well, there’s only so much time, so let’s play one more song.

22.) Extended Werewolf – farm

There’s only so much time indeed. I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?

outro

Songs after: Lost Plot (live) – Fish
Grace, Too – The Tragically Hip
Freak Turbulence – The Tragically Hip
Blow At High Dough – The Tragically Hip

15.) Round Sum – Cave Bees

17.) Not A Nice Guy – Rough Francis
18.) Alienation – Black Rabbit
19.) Vestibule – Blue Button

21.) You – Slingshot Dakota
22.) Swing The Gavel – Elephants Of Scotland
23.) Pounding Serf – Barbacoa
24.) Into The Void – Surf Sabbath

SS, ie The High Breaks, played Metal Monday at Nectar’s last Monday. I thought it would be fun to play them back to back with the classic Burlington surf rock band, Barbacoa. Great new song from Elephants. I just love Slingshot. OK, let’s mellow things out for the end of the show. This next band release a new EP at 8pm (doors at 7:30) at the First Congregational Church of Burlington on Saturday.

25.) Good Witch – Cricket Blue
26.) Ships – Anais Mitchell

intro

I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I enjoyed the day off last week and spent it with family and friends and friends that really are family. It’s great to find wonderful people and let them be part of your life. I’ve been thinking about seeing music and seeing people on the stage and you always want to think the best of them and hope they are wonderful people pursuing their dreams and art. Sometimes you don’t know people at all. Sometimes you get to know them a little, sometimes a lot. On rare occasions you get to know someone very deeply and get to see their delicate and powerful soul and find the staggering beauty in that. Tonight I want to start with a set from one of the most beautiful souls I have had the chance to know.

1.) Robin’s Song – Peg Tassey MUSIC
2.) Angle Of The Sun – Peg Tassey
3.) First Kiss – Peg Tassey

Those are all staggeringly beautiful and strong songs from the Kissing Circle era and created and performed by the magnificent Peg Tassey. This next performer is pretty wonderful too.

4.) New York My Lovely – Joshua Glass Music
5.) Ordinary Day – Milton Busker
6.) Megan’s Song – Hana Zara
7.) 15 Steps – Maryse Smith

2015 seems to be the year of change. That is a song about change from Maryse Smith who is leaving town. Hopefully, she will come back and visit from time to time. Hana moved back to Nebraska but sure put her mark on this town. I’m sure she will come and visit sometime too. Great songs from Milton and Josh. I saw this next artist the night before Thanksgiving at Radio Bean and greatly enjoyed his set.

8.) I Know – Dom the Barber
9.) Goner – REDadmiral
10.) Today Is Tomorrow – The Red Telephone
11.) Falling In And Out Of Sleep – Envy

I loved seeing Envy back in the ’90’s. Sean Toohey and Ann Mindell, from the band, are in a cool new band called The Nancy Druids, who played a killer set after Dom that night at the Bean. Sean used to play with RT. Fun new song from Admiral. Nice ditty about aliens from Dom. Last time I finished playing the Phil Yates & The Affiliates album No Need To Beg, so now it’s time to start a new album to play all the way through, song after song, week after week. For the next few weeks we will go all the way through Red Flannel Hash by Black Rabbit.

12.) Nicky Says – Black Rabbit
13.) Long Term Sermon – The Mountain Says No
14.) My New Mixtape – Eef
15.) Maleman – Eef

Classic song from the ’90’s in Burlington. It was cool to see Eef get back together to play a show last Friday at ArtsRiot. They played old ones like Male and new ones like mix, which is about making a mixtape for the girl you like, you know, that thing we did back in the ’80’s and ’90’s. Mountain played that show also and did a killer version of Sermon. Great song from Rabbit. More to come in the next several weeks. OK, let’s keep rocking.

16.) Destroying Everything They see – Blue Button
17.) Windigo – Crazyhearse
18.) Silver And Gold – Waylon Speed!
19.) The Drone – The Cush

Those are four of the most intense songs ever played in Burlington. It’s not a complete list, but there is a lot of greatness in that set. OK, let’s keep rocking.

20.) Blind Pigs – ROUGH FRANCIS
21.) If You Get Lost – Swale
22.) Glorkian Warrior Sleepytime – James Kochalka Superstar

I just got a bunch of Kochalka so expect to hear lots more soon. Great song from Swale. Killer new song by Francis that is unfortunately still timely. Maybe someday we really will make it a summer of love. OK, let’s step back in time.

23.) Hold Me Tight – The Decentz
24.) So They Say – The New Siberians
25.) Ghost Train – Jerichovox

I love the smooth and strong sound of Vox. I just love that new Siberians song. I love that classic from Decentz. I love this last song too.

26.) Bad Oasis – farm

I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?

intro

From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. It’s very dark and almost time for Halloween, so tonight I will play some spooky scary songs. This is the time of year when the line between our world and the world beyond is very thin. I usually invite my friend from beyond, Mr E. Ghoul, to join me, but it’s just a little too early and the line between our worlds is still to far to cross. Yes, he is having an issue with Incarnation Dysfunction. There are several ways ghouls can cross into our world. Let’s begin with one of the more fun vehicles.

1.) Voodoo Camaro – Wide Wail
2.) Crazy Hearse – Barbacoa
3.) With The Dead – Vultures of Cult
4.) Oh My God – Sarah Blacker

Nice tale of angels and devils from Sarah. She lives in Salem, MA but comes up to Vermont to haunt us now and then. Fun, seasonally appropriate song from Vultures. Some souls prefer to travel in the crazy hearse and some the voodoo camaro. It’s just matter of choice. Up next, is one of the scariest concepts that mortals can deal with, sarcasm.

5.) I’m Thrilled – Phil Yates & The Affiliates
6.) Day Of The Dead – Hana Zara
7.) Funeral – Dirtminers
8.) Raising The Dead – Carraway
9.) Ninjas VS Zombies – Phil Yates

Such fun tales of terror from Phil and Carraway. Funeral is a cool song from the Miners. Great song from Hana. Hopefully, she will come back and play for us sometime in the near future. Phil and the band will be at The Skinny Pancake tomorrow and will play a set of Elvis Costello and one of their own. They are one of every band in town who is playing in the next couple of days. This is a great song from a classic Burlington artist.

10.) Graveyard Before Dark – Alice Austin
11.) One More Grave – The Contrarian
12.) Gothic Bloodsucker – Zola Turn
13.) Vampyre – Dave Jarvis Band

Classic from Burlington’s ’90’s. The Zola song is from the first album. Killer tune from Casey Merlin Rae who was a writer and musician in town for many years. So, we’ve heard songs about specific beasts like zombies and vampires, so here is one about the generic category of monsters.

14.) Monsters Are Due – Doom Service
15.) Monsters – Cold Sweat
16.) A Place Both Beautiful And Strange – Vultures Of Cult
17.) Demon Moon – Crazyhearse

Killer doom and gloom song from hearse. I love the moody instrumental from Cult. Sweat make the point that monsters don’t have to be supernatural. Great new Doom song. Let’s now turn our sights to magic for a song recorded at the Radio Bean

18.) I Put A Spell On You – Marco Benevento and Kat Wright
19.) Devil – farm
20.) The Death Of Tim Lewis (poem read over the end of Devil and beginning of Devil Knows) – Tim Lewis
21.) Devil Knows My Name – Great Western

Killer version of their new song recorded live at Nectar’s. Great song by Farm about the struggles in life. Kat Wright & The Indomitable Soul Band will be at Nectar’s on Saturday. This song is about a bar that burned down and people died and their ghosts still reside.

22.) Black Cat – Black Rabbit
23.) Ghostified – Persian Claws
24.) Killing Ghosts – Better Things
25.) Ghost Train – Jerichovox

I love the spooky sound of that song. Ghoul called me and let me know some ghosts prefer to take the train to the other side, not just a car. That one is dedicated to him. Killer song from Better. Great rocker from Persian. This next band weren’t around long but played some solid shows.

26.) Planning My Funeral – Poxy
27.) Space Weed Zombies (live) – Wave of the Future
28.) JC And The Beast – The Mountain Says No
29.) Children Of The Grave – Jesus Christ and the Hallucinogenic Allstars

Killer cover of the Sabbath song from the Saratoga NY band who come to town now and then. Mountain and Wave will play at Finnegan’s tomorrow at 10. I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town, and that it didn’t scare you too much. Goodbye. Sayonara.

30.) Sayonara – Black Rabbit
