Song before: On The Air – Peter Gabriel

intro

From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. Let’s begin tonight with one of my favorite things. I hope it’s one of yours too.

1.) Love – Hana Zara
2.) Love Is A Word – The Smittens
3.) 80 Degrees In October – Jesse Taylor
4.) 1,000 Tiny Pieces – The Leatherbound Books

Lovely song from a lovely band. I just got Jesse’s album and it’s pretty cool. That’s the title song. Great songs about love from Smittens and Hana. More on that soon. OK, let’s head over to Robot Dog Studio for another interview and live performance.

5.) Maybe There’s A War – Danny & The Parts
6.) Driftin’ – Danny & The Parts
7.) Why You Puttin’ Down That Phone – Danny & The Parts
8.) My Hands – Danny & The Parts

I want to thank Danny LeFrancois, Jackie Buttolph, Eric and Brennan for that beautiful show. Thanks to Ryan Cohen for hosting and making us sound great. Thanks to Phoebe Zorn and Chrusty Barnacles for the film work. There’s a video for Driftin’ on Youtube. OK, a bunch of local artists just made an album to support the neonatal intensive care unit at the UVM Children’s Hospital. They call the album Big Tiny Love and here are a few songs.

9.) Something Beautiful – Kat Wright, Mr Chris, and Let’s Grow Kids
10.) If You’re Happy And You Know It – Steady Betty
11.) De Colores – Marcie Hernandez
12.) Home On The Range – Lowell Thompson Music
13.) Down By The Riverside – Bob Wagner

Such a nice collection of music and it’s for a great cause. Just Google Big Tiny Love and you can find out more about it. OK, here is the next song on the Grim Work album.

14.) Glad To See You Go – Milton Busker and the Grim Work
15.) We Govern The Breeze – Humble Hero
16.) Empress Of Ireland – Thompson Gunner
17.) Coming Over the Hill – Radio Underground

It’s staying darker longer so I thought playing a song from Dark and Getting Darker would be appropriate. Thanks for the great song RU. I love that epic from Thompson. I caught Humble at The Double E last week and they played a great version of Breeze. Great song form Milton and the band. When it’s dark, there is still hope.

18.) Hope In The Dark – David Rosane & The Zookeepers
19.) A Quiet Pun – Joe Adler
20.) Underheard – Ivamae
21.) London – Tom Pearo

Tom will be at Magic Hat Brewing Company on Friday. Ivamae will be at the New City Galerie on Sunday. Great songs by Joe and David. These next few bands will rock Big Heavy World on Saturday.

22.) Untitled Letter – The Silent Mile
23.) Liquor Stores – Why Nona
24.) Bury Me Easy – Real Talk
25.) When Life Sings – Days on End

It’s going to be a rocking fun time with those four bands this weekend. This next band will play Saturday at Rathaus

26.) Nothing Important – Doom Service
27.) The Space Between – The Nancy Druids
28.) Lead Me To Your Love – The New Siberians
29.) The Bomb – The Mountain Says No
30.) Olympus Mons – Phantom Suns

Great song from Suns new album Caldera. Cool songs from Mountain and Siberians. Druids will be at Light Club Lamp Shop tomorrow. Well, I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?
