Tonight’s local music radio show on WBKM.ORG will run from 9-11pm US eastern Time February 15 2018. You can stream it from the website or this link: WBKM. It will go as follows.

Song before: Art Of Dying – George Harrison

From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. Last week Hana Zara came to town and played a brilliant show at Radio Bean. She played a lot of new songs and this classic about seeing auras.

1.) Santa Anna – Hana Zara
2.) Hold Me – Maryse Smith
3.) Angela Carter – Cricket Blue
4.) My Heart – Francesca Blanchard

Francesca played a brilliant version of that on Monday when she joined Maryse’s weekly residency at Light Club Lamp Shop. Maryse played a great version of that song that night. Cricket opened for Hana last Sunday. They played mostly new songs and did not play that one, but I really like it and wanted to play it for you. OK, this next singer will be at On Tap in Essex tomorrow.

5.) Can You Love Me Too? – Bethany Conner Music
6.) Tiny House – Tom Pearo
7.) California – Ver Sacrum
8.) The Divine Feminine – Ouzkxqlzn
9.) Mama – Ivamae

I love that song about getting advice from your mother. She will be at The Monkey House on Friday and at the Lamp Shop on Tuesday. Ouzkxqlzn will be at ArtsRiot on Saturday with Maryse Smith and others. Ver and Tom will be at the Lamp Shop on Saturday. This next band are from Montreal but will be at the Lamp show with Ivamae on Tuesday.

10.) Be Apart-Break Apart (Give A Little) – Thanya Iyer
11.) Love In The Afternoon – The Thursday Torys
12.) Faded Hollow – The Cush
13.) It’ll Be OK – Let’s Whisper

That song is so cheery that I want to play it all the time. I was due. Great new song from The Cush. The Torys are at SideBar tonight. Iyer were amazing the last time they came to town. I can’t wait to see them again. OK, here is the next song on Black, Blue & White.

14.) Circle K – The New Siberians
15.) Honest Will – The Parts
16.) Gettin High – Heavy Plains
17.) Waiting – ROUGH FRANCIS

Great new song from Francis. Word has it they will be releasing a few songs as a lead up to the new album. Great classic from Plains. Great song from Danny LeFrancois and the band. The Siberians are so great. OK, a cool show happened at Nectar’s last night. Swale played the whole Paranoid album then Surf Sabbath played other Black Sabbath songs. If you listen to this next set and use your imagination you might guess what it was like.

18.) Safe To Say – SWALE
19.) Hand Of Doom – Black Sabbath
20.) Symptom Of The Universe – Surf Sabbath (The High Breaks)
21.) Every Last One Of Us – Swale

Last night was so great. I hope you get a hint of it from that set. OK, let’s keep rocking.

22.) Never Cry Halo – Alice Austin
23.) Crazy – Clever Girls
24.) The Anchor – Carraway
25.) Nowhere Feels Like Home – Fire The Cannons

Cannons rocked us in the early 00’s. Great new classic from Carraway. Crazy is such a great love song. Alice helped make out town sound great in the 90’s and is still making great music. OK, let’s keep rocking.

26.) Once More With Apathy – Mr. Doubtfire
27.) Prime – Black Rabbit
28.) If You Lie – The Mountain Says No
29.) Jackbooted Thugs (Have All The Best Drugs) – Anders Parker.

That is such an epic song. Those last three were from live at Robot Dog Studio sessions. Two were from this year and Rabbit were in last December. Well, I hope you enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?
