One of the things that I have done with my local music radio show on WBKM 107.1FM is to play some albums all the way through, one song per week, until the album is done. Today, I went through the list and thought I’d write it out.

I began the show on February 22, 2013 and played the album When Dusk Falls by Vedora until show 10 on May 2, 2013

On May 9th, 21013 I began playing the 11th show with New Appreciation For Sunshine by The Cush and finished it up on July 18th of 2013, which was show 21.

SWALE‘s album A Small Arrival was featured from show 22 on July 25, 2013 and played through show 32 on October 10, 2013

On October 17, 2013 for show 33 I began To A Star In The Yard by Alice Austin and finished it up with show 44 on January 9th of 2014.

I began playing Maximum Soul Power by ROUGH FRANCIS with show 45 on January 16 of 2014 and played the last song on show 52 on March 6, 2014

Ninja Custodian‘s Dancing With The Big Guy was featured from show 53 on March 13, 2014 through show 67 on June 19th 2014

I began show 68 on June 26, 2014 and played Ninja Jane by Zola Turn through September 18, 2014 which was show 79.

On September 25, 2014 for show 80 Anachronist‘s EP Row was featured through show 84 on October 23, 2014.

Black Rabbit‘s EP Lipstick And Dynamite was featured from show 85 on October 30, 2014 and wrapped up on show 90 on December 11th of 2014. The EP begins with the song Black Cat which was carefully chosen to start on the annual Halloween show.

On December 18, 2014 show 91 featured Many Things & Many Scenes by Joe Adler and it continued until show 101 on March 5th of 2015. Note: Joe and Eric came into the studio to play live on show 100 on February 26 of 2015 and Aaron Flinn stopped in to play a set that night too.

I began Swale’s album The Next Instead on show 102 on March 12, 2015, which turned out to be my dad’s last birthday, and finished it on June 4th of 2015 with show 113.

Show 114 began on June 11, 2015 and The Mountain Says No‘s album JV was played through show 126 on September 10, 2015.

Phil Yates & The Affiliates‘s No Need To Beg was featured from show 127 on September 17, 2015 through show 136 on November 19, 2016

I began Black Rabbit‘s Red Flannel Hash for show137 on December 3, 2015 and played it through show 147 on February 25, 2016. Note: Even thought it was a warm winter, it was actually a little cold on February 18th when the song It’s Cold played. Who would have guessed that playing a song about the cold in February would have been that stressful?

On March 3rd of 2016 I began the Bernie Sanders and 30 VT Musicians album and it went from shows 148 through 152 and ended on March 31 of 2016

Alpenglow‘s album Callisto was featured from show 153 on April 7, 2016 and I finished it off last week with show 162 on June 9, 2016 Note: I also played Slingshot Dakota‘s album Break concurrently from show 153 through show 161 on June 2, 2016

Show 163 was on June 16, 2016 and I began playing Lendway’s album Giant Places.  I finished with show 173 on August 25, 2017

On September 8, 2016 I did radio show 174 and played Invisible Homes’ album Song For My Double until show 184 on November 17, 2016.

I played Shovel Down by the Seth Yacovone Band from show 185 on December 1, 2016 to show 193 on February 2, 2017.

Show 194 was on February 9, 2017 and I started the album By My Side by Kat Wright.  I finished it with show 206 on May 4, 2017

On May 11 2017 show 207 began 1881’s series of ep’s that I consider to be an album, Lights, Camera, Action.  I wrapped those up on show 219 on August 3rd.

On August 10, 2017 show 220 began Clever Girls album Loose Tooth album.  I played the last song on September 14, 2017 with show 225.

I began Surf Sabbath’s album Surf Sabbath with show 226 on September 21, 2017 and am in the middle of the album now.

  1. Dave and Nicole’s album “Shine On,” maybe?

  2. ‘Dwight’ and Nicole, sorry!
