Radio Show 41 Thursday December 19 , 2013 9-10pm Eastern US Time WBKM.ORG   Leave a comment

I just got back from local music internet radio show 41 on WBKM.ORG. It’s my last show until Christmas, so I played a lot of Christmas songs by local artists.

Song before: Myrrh – The Church

From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds Of Burlington. I’ve got a lot of Christmas songs to play, but let’s start with the next song on To A Star In The Yard. This is a song called Until You Shake by Alice Austin on WBKM and this is Burlington’s kind of music.

1.) Until You Shake – Alice Austin
2.) Winter – David L. Jarvis
3.) Christmas Sled – The Mountain Says No

That’s a great brand new song from Mountain, who feature two of the guys from farm. Here come the Christmas songs.

4.) Carol Of The Bells – Gordon Stone
5.) Santa Baby – Samara Lark
6.) Home – Chin Ho!
7.) Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer – Linda Bassick
8.) Frosty The Snowman – Construction Joe

There are some really nice takes on classic songs. Home by Chin Ho! is cool, and reminded me of hanging out with my parents and my brother today. It’s my brother Ken’s birthday, Happy Birthday Ken! OK, here are some more Christmas songs.

9.) Happy Xmas (War is Over) – Joshua Glass
10.) Little Drummer Boy – Aaron Flinn
11.) Silent Night – Tammy Fletcher
12.) Hark The Herald – Electric Halo
13.) Silver Bells – Josh Glass and Jackie Buttolph

Wow, there is so much talent in this town. Next, let’s go classic Burlington

14.) Winter Wonderland – The N Zones
15.) Jingle Bell Rock – Sarah Stickle
16.) Merry Christmas Baby – Sandra Wright
17.) Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas – Greg Alexander

Great stuff. I’ve got a few more to play, I hope you don’t mind if I run a bit late

18.) White Christmas – Giovanina Bucci
19.) We Three Kings – Electric Halo
20.) Oh Holy Night – Cait Hoffman

It’s a beautiful warm night in Burlington and there is snow everywhere. I hope you have a white Christmas too and I hope you have enjoyed checking out the music of our town. Let’s do it again next week, shall we?
